  • What Time is It? “Maritime!” – Reflections on my Visit to Newman by the Bay


    A little over 2 months ago, Camp Newman's beloved site of 20 years at Porter Creek, CA was destroyed in the Tubbs fires in Napa Valley. A little over a month ago, Camp Newman announced Camp Newman by the Bay, where they would host their summer home for summer 2018. All along, the Newman team, has said that camp is a community and is not tied to a particular place.

We're travelling this Channukah season in order to share the light of our robotic menorah and the knowledge of circuits and light. Circuits, the basics of all electronics and robotics, can be simple to learn and a fun way to connect our Jewish value of Tikkun Olam, repairing the world and bringing of light, to our love of science.
