Alum of the Month:

Alumni Spotlight: Lauren Ross

Lauren Ross is our alumni spotlight for this edition of the alumni newsletter! Starting her Sci-Tech journey in 2023, Lauren discovered the joy of camp as a counselor before becoming Botany Lead Instructor in summer of 2024!

While as a lead instructor, Lauren created a dynamic curriculum that included nature walks, plant identification, and micro-green cultivation. She created a caring and fun environment for the campers and worked hard to be a part of our Sci-Tech family!

Now, Lauren is starting her masters degree at Ben Gurion University of the Negev at their Sde Boker campus! She is a desert studies major with a focus in agroinformatics and will be making incredible strides in the field of agriculture while living in Israel. We wish Lauren yasher koach on this amazing achievement!

Alumni News:

  • Greg Kellner had his second daughter, Zara, in December! She joins his older daughter Livi who is now 3 years old.
