I’m really excited about being part of the inaugural summer here at 6 Points Sci-Tech. The way I see it, Camp is life – the rest are details!
I am Josh Stempel, the program director. I work with counselors on their chuggim and electives. The best thing about Camp is the powerful exchange between campers and counselors – closer in age to campers than most teachers but still separated by life-changing college experiences. At Sci-Tech, I’m most excited to see this relationship extend to Jewish and STEM role modeling.
Hey everyone, my name is Megan Brumer and I am going to be the Director of Jewish life this summer. I just finished my first year of Rabbinical School and I am most excited to bring Judaism and science together; to really bridge the gap between the two worlds.

Hi! My name is Jonathan Abelson and I am the Roller Coaster Physics Instructor. I am most excited about building this new camp that allows us to create, design and ride roller coasters!
Hi! I am Jonah Lerner and I am the Robotics Instructor for this summer. I will be teaching workshops about how robots work and how the many systems involved in robotics relate directly to Judaism. I am really excited to be at Sci-Tech and to see all of the amazing robots the campers will create!
My name is Joshua Mallett and I am a staff educator for URJ sci-tech this summer. I will be teaching R Programming. I am most excited for see what the kids are passionate about and how my program can hopefully inspire them!
We also have an INCREDIBLE group of medical staff who will be rotating throughout the summer. They will be working hard to keep camp healthy, happy, and safe.
