Join us in celebrating the
13th Summer of Sci-Tech!!
Saturday, July 25th 2026 • 9 am ET – 3 pm ET
The first summer of Sci-Tech was in 2014! Since then, camp has grown and matured into a premier and enduring institution. This summer, we will gather to celebrate our accomplishments, to honor those who have helped us to get here, and to feel the embrace of our warm and welcoming community. With your support, we can continue to grow and support the Sci-Tech community for decades to come.
We are grateful to our generous sponsors!
This summer, we will be honoring Jayme Dale Mallindine on becoming a Bat Mitzvah

Jayme Mallindine – Director of 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy
Jayme Dale has spent her career and education poking at the intersections between technology and community-building. Before becoming the Director at URJ 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy in 2018, Jayme was, at various points, an afterschool program coordinator and summer camp director for a youth leadership program in Rhode Island, a synagogue education coordinator and social action teacher, an ethnographer studying religious communities who used video games as part of their religious/spiritual practice, and a site lead and teacher for Girls Make Games and Girls Who Code, youth programs that teach middle school and high school girls video game design and computer programming.
Jayme grew up in the Appalachian region of North Carolina and dual-majored in Psychology and Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. She then earned a Master’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin. She also used to run her own podcast at GamingBroadly.com about the ways people relate (or don’t relate) to games and the cultures surrounding them! She currently lives in New Orleans with her three-legged German Shepherd, Dexter, where she serves the New Orleans Jewish community as a board member for JNOLA (the young adult arm of the New Orleans Jewish Federation) and as an advisory council member for Avodah New Orleans.
