Ben Braunstein, Assistant Camp Director
Ben Braunstein recently graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in Modern Jewish Studies. He also studied technical theater including designing and building sets, props, lighting, and sound for shows. Ben has been teaching Judaism through technology for four years as well as working in Jewish youth groups and summer camps. In his free time Ben likes to build things in the workshop he made in his garage. This greatly affects his teaching style as he loves to do hands-on projects utilizing design thinking: AKA the engineering process. Ben is very excited to be on the Sci-Tech West Team and can’t wait to explore science and Judaism with your campers!
Aimee Sesar, Registrar/Camp Administrator
Aimee was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She spent the majority of her life looking forward to her amazing, transformative summers spent at Camp Hess Kramer where she spent 8 years as a camper and 1 year as staff. She attended American University (Go Eagles!) where she studied Communications and Jewish Studies and loved living in DC. After graduation, she headed back to Los Angeles to marry Josh Sesar whom she met at Camp!
During the last 20 years, Aimee has become very involved in Camp Harmony which is a non-profit that provides an overnight camping experience twice a year for underprivileged children around Los Angeles. She worked in the office for three years and then continued her involvement by working on fundraising events and during camp sessions. She has become quite the tie-dye aficionado!
Aimee went back to work full time at AJC (American Jewish Committee) in Development in April 2013. She spent 5 years engaging and interacting with donors and working on many fundraising events. Jewish camping was always in her heart and on her mind, so, she was so excited to re-visit her roots and jump right into the job at 6 Points.
Aimee lives in Los Angeles with her husband Josh and her two daughters Emma and Chloe who are thankfully both obsessed with summer camp.
