Sci-Tech sessions are two weeks long, with three full sessions offered each summer. Campers can mix and match to create their ideal summer experience—staying for 2, 4, or all 6 weeks. Between the full sessions, we offer two intersessions: unique, shorter programs designed to bridge the gap for campers who are staying while others head home.
Intersession has its own special energy, complete with creative programming, bonus activities, and exciting opportunities that make it feel like a mini session all its own. We just wrapped up our second and final intersession of Summer 2025—and what an incredible few days it was! (Want to hear about Intersession A? Be sure to check out our earlier post.)
Campers kicked things off with a trip to an indoor climbing park, an activity that was both energizing and relaxing. It gave campers a chance to burn off energy in the climbing maze and also unwind and connect during quieter moments.

Back at camp, Upper Camp and Lower Camp each took turns tie-dyeing shirts and braiding challah. These hands-on activities allowed the two groups to mix, mingle, and create something together. Our visiting Israeli faculty joined in the fun, sharing cultural insights and adding a special “twist” to the experience.
Of course, no intersession would be complete without some of our favorite traditions including the Taste of Workshops, a robotics breakdown, and the ever-popular ice cream party! One of Sci-Tech’s six core values is sakranut, curiosity, and during intersession campers truly lived out that value. As part of the robotics breakdown, they got a behind-the-scenes look at how we transition between sessions. Taking apart robots from the previous session and prepping for the next is a unique privilege and a beloved intersession tradition.
By the end of intersession, campers and counselors alike were refreshed, recharged, and ready to jump into Session 3 with energy and excitement!
