One of the highlights of the summer is our international staff fair. At Sci-Tech we have staff from all over the world that participate in yearlong preparation programs prior to coming to America and working at Sci-Tech as councilors, instructors and leadership. Campers and the enter Sci-Tech community is privileged to be able to learn from and share in so many different cultures.
International festival isn’t the only time that we celebrate our international staff, everyday there is a Hebrew word of the day presented by our Israeli staff.
Our tea loving international staff even held a special Shalective about the proper way to drink tea, complimented by popular terms from their homeland. And on just any regular day campers and staff can be overheard practicing their language of choice, learning to write in new characters, or just sharing moments of comradery as they discover similarities between their cultures.
