On Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, a memorial day for those who tragically died in the Shoah (Holocaust), we wanted to share this powerful video created by Sci-Tech Camper Jonathan Tamen. Jonathan’s video tells the story of Nicholas Winton, a British humanitarian who saved 699 children from Czechoslovakia during the Holocaust. We are incredibly inspired by and proud of Jonathan’s beautiful and moving work.
Jonathan writes, “I [made this video] for the Nova Southeastern University’s Holocaust Reflection Contest. I won first place, thanks to all the skills I learned last summer in Digital Film Production. ”
