The gates have officially opened to Session 1 2026 at URJ 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy, and we are stepping into our 13th summer in Byfield with a lot of energy and a lot of meaning.
This year sits in a moment of transition for our community. We are holding both pride in what Sci-Tech has been for thirteen years and curiosity about what it is becoming next. That balance, between what is familiar and what is still unfolding, is something our tradition speaks to often.
Campers arrived, moved into their halls, and have now completed their first two full days of camp. Workshops and chugim are underway, and the rhythm of camp life is already taking shape.
It has been great to see campers dive into hands-on learning, trying new things, meeting new people, and beginning to find their place in the community. Very quickly, the campus starts to feel alive with shared purpose and connection.
In many ways, this reflects something we return to often at Sci-Tech. Community here is not fixed to a place or moment. It is built through people showing up for each other, day by day, experience by experience.
As we move through these first two weeks, we are thinking about savlanut, patience, not as waiting, but as the space where growth happens.
Welcome to Sci-Tech, and welcome back to a place of belonging, learning, and wonder.
