Communications Manager- West

The Communication Manager reports to the Assistant Director and will:

  • work in partnership with the Assistant Director to bridge the world inside camp with the world outside camp using a variety of communication and social media platforms
  • Document camp activities in digital photographs, videos and archive for future use
  • Curate Campminder photo albums daily for camp parents
  • Assist in production of future camp marketing materials – Create videos and media content for year-round engagement, including holiday-specific photos and videos, opening day countdowns, and registration launch hype media
  • Create highlight slideshows and video clips for for the end of each session
  • Create highlight videos for important days at camp, including opening days, Shabbat, special guests, trip day and closing days
  • Supervise, write, and edit the camp’s online blog 3-5 days per week
  • Manage the camp’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram presence throughout the summer, contributing engaging, compelling and creative content including Facebook Live and Twitter Video
