Each day, campers receive 3 to 4 hours of instruction in their selected sport major. Campers then choose two other sport electives for cross training, conditioning and fun. By blending sports with engaging and experiential Jewish camp activities that foster traditional values of community, honor, humility, courage, compassion and determination, 6 Points ensures that campers enjoy a well-rounded and truly unique summer experience.
In addition to sports, sports and more sports, camp activities will include: campfires, song sessions, inter camp athletic competition (Maccabiah Games), special guest musicians and speakers, bunk cheers, Israeli themed activities and Shabbat celebrations.
During our two-week sessions*, each camper chooses one of the following as their primary sport:

Boys & Girls Basketball ■ ▲
Develop your shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding and defense. Eat, sleep and breathe b-ball and get the focused, intensive training you need to take your game to the next level. For players of all levels, who are looking to develop and refine their fundamental basketball skills.
Boys & Girls Soccer ■ ▲
Players learn to create more goal-scoring opportunities while improving ball handling, footwork and speed. Goalkeeping training is also available. Programs are divided into groups based on age and ability.
Boys & Girls Swimming ■
Competitive swim training focuses on strength, flexibility and endurance. Swimmers will develop the right feel for the water and correct motor skills, core strength, explosive power and flexibility.
Boys & Girls Tennis ■ ▲
Drills and game situations taught by USPTA certified professionals are used to improve player skills and strategies. Programs are divided into groups based on age and ability.
Boys Baseball ■ ▲
Athletes receive individualized hitting and fielding instruction and participate in drills, scrimmages and strategy sessions. Athletes also receive a personal evaluation of their skills from our top notch coaching staff.
Girls Cheerleading & Dance ■
Diverse and trend-setting instruction that challenges girls to reach their maximum performing potential. Campers receive personalized and specialized instruction accentuating technique, precision, and style. Campers will learn cheers, chants and dance routines focused in hip- hop, jazz and funk.
Boys / Girls Lacrosse (separate sessions) ■
Technical training focuses on stick handling, cradling, passing, catching and well as daily speed, conditioning and fitness sessions.
Girls Softball ■
Athletes receive individualized hitting and fielding instruction and participate evaluation of their skills from our top notch coaching staff.

Our sports specialty staff serve as role models both on and off the field
Instructors are college or high school coaches who are highly regarded and respected in their chosen sports. All counselors are Jewish college athletes, Israeli athletes or high school graduates who played their chosen sport through high school. Counselors live in dorms and share their real life athletic tips and experiences. Their job is to engage athletes in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Our counselors don’t sit on the sidelines. They participate in every activity with the campers.
