Join us to celebrate the

13th Summer of Sci-Tech!!

Saturday, July 25th 2026 • 9 am ET – 3 pm ET
Alumni Afterparty 3 pm – 9 pm ET

The first summer of Sci-Tech was in 2014! Since then, camp has grown and matured into a premier and enduring institution. This summer, we will gather to celebrate our accomplishments, to honor those who have helped us to get here, and to feel the embrace of our warm and welcoming community. With your support, we can continue to grow and support the Sci-Tech community for decades to come.

We are grateful to our generous sponsors!

This summer, we will be honoring Jayme Dale Mallindine on becoming a Bat Mitzvah

Jayme Mallindine – Director of 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy

Even before Jayme Dale joined the Director team in 2018, her career and education had led her to explore the intersections of technology, creativity, and community-building. She brings that curiosity to camp every summer, along with her love of Nintendo, especially The Legend of Zelda, and her hoppy three-legged friend, Dexter the Dog.

But what many people don’t know is that Jayme is what’s known as a Jew-by-choice! Pulled to Judaism because of its strong sense of community and curiosity, Jayme officially converted to Judaism while she was working as the Education Coordinator at Temple Beth Shalom in Austin, Texas, after over a decade of both private and communal research and learning. Like many of the families at camp, Jayme’s family and friends have since been proudly discovering what it means to live as a loving multifaith community, especially as it relates to Jewish holidays and lifecycle rituals.

One lifecycle event that has always stood out is the practice of becoming B Mitzvah! Jayme has dreamed of being called to the Torah and becoming Bat Mitzvah for many, many years. This summer, her dream is finally coming true!

To become Bat Mitzvah during this particular summer adds an incredibly special layer of meaning. 2026 marks the 13th summer of Sci-Tech’s existence, and 13 is the traditional age at which many young Jews become B Mitzvah themselves, meaning that Sci-Tech is ALSO going to become B Mitzvah this summer! Jayme is thrilled to share her B Mitzvah date in parallel with Sci-Tech, the community that has so deeply shaped her Jewish identity and adulthood.

This meaningful Co-B Mitzvah celebration will include:

  • A special Bat Mitzvah ceremony for our Director, Jayme Dale Mallindine, featuring Torah readings by past and present directors
  • Opportunities to reflect on and honor the legacy of Sci-Tech
  • An auction of camp memorabilia – including meaningful and iconic items from the site – with proceeds supporting the future of the program

We are so excited to celebrate together as our community AND our Camp Director both take a big step forward in our Jewish journey, spiritually as well as physically, as we prepare for our upcoming move in 2027!
