Tuition Discounts

  • Multi-Session Discount: Campers receive $100 off the cost of their total tuition for attending more than one session.
  • Sibling Discount: Each additional child from your family who registers for camp gets $100 off the cost of tuition.
  • One Happy Camper Grant: Campers who have never attended an overnight Jewish summer camp for 12 or more consecutive nights may be eligible to receive up to $1000 off tuition from the Foundation for Jewish Camp’s One Happy Camper program. Campers attending one full two-week session may be eligible for the $700 grant, while campers attending more than one two-week session may be eligible for the $1000 grant. Please visit the One Happy Camper website and apply for the program to determine eligibility. Campers who attended Taste of Camp are still eligible to receive the One Happy Camper grant!
  • First Time Family (FTF) Voucher: Due to the generosity of our donors, families who will be attending 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy in person for the first time in 2024, for a full two-week session, will receive an additional $295 voucher to put towards their total tuition. Now, more than ever, our camp supporters want to make it easier for new families to discover the magic of camp connections and summer friendships. The voucher would be given once per family, not per camper. This voucher is for new families, so campers with siblings who have attended Sci-Tech previously are not eligible. There are a limited number of vouchers available, so register soon! Vouchers will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis as families enroll in the program. Campers who attended Taste of Camp are still eligible to receive the First Time Family Voucher!

Travel Insurance Plans

We partner with a third-party insurance provider to help our families protect their investments and plan for the unexpected. For more information, read the Program Protector Plans document. Families can sign up during the enrollment process. If you want to purchase after enrolling, please email Business Manager Lisa Rodney at lrodney@urj.org.

If you are worried about your camper meeting the expectations of camp as listed in the camper application or the code of conduct or are worried about your camper’s ability to complete a full summer session successfully, we strongly encourage you to look into trip insurance to protect your financial investment in camp! We are not able to provide partial or full refunds for campers who leave camp early for any reasons other than those outlined in our cancellation and refund policy.

Please note that Camp IS NOT a travel protection insurance provider; decisions regarding the insurer’s liability are made at the sole discretion of the third-party insurer in accordance with the insurance policy’s terms.

Intersession

Intersession

Intersession is a 2-day/2-night experience exclusively available to campers who stay at camp for multiple sessions. During the days between each session, our campers will play games, enjoy the outdoors, spend time with their camp friends, and participate in some leisurely science or technology activities while hanging out at camp. After a busy two weeks, they will also have time to unwind, sleep a little late, catch up on their reading or favorite board game, and enjoy the camp environment. We believe strongly that the intersession time is an important part of the camp experience and that each camper staying for two sessions or more be enrolled in intersession programming.

Campers who DO NOT stay for intersession must be picked up during the Sunday/closing day pick-up period and returned during the Tuesday/Opening Day drop-off period of the next enrolled session. If you cannot commit to picking up and dropping off your camper during those time slots, your child must be enrolled in the intersession.

Since rising 11th graders and Taste of Camp only come during our 3rd session, they cannot sign up for an Intersession. Participants in the Machon Program for rising 12th graders are automatically enrolled in Intersession as part of their regular registration.
